Program

Mini Camp is designed for the younger child who loves horses. During the camp session your child will be introduced to these wonderful animals in situations geared for their age level and attention span.

Daily riding lessons will teach your child the very basics of horsemanship in a confined suitable area for beginners. Campers also learn to groom their ponies and help to saddle them. Safety on the ground and when mounted is strongly emphasized. Our staff to student ratio during riding is 1 to 5 maximum. Our instructor is CHA certified.

 Your camper will enjoy hand led trail rides, vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) arts & crafts and simple games on horseback. These activites will increase your childs self confidence while they have an incredible amount of fun.

What to Wear & What to Bring

All Campers should wear: Long pants, Applied Sunscreen, Riding Helmet, Riding Type Boots.   Riding Helmets and Boots are available for loan at no extra charge.  Bike Helmets are not allowed.

If you are concerned about sharing helmets, you may purchase one for $35.
To purchase a riding helmet click the Downloadable Forms button at the left and then select Riding Helmet Order Form.  Include this with your registration forms.

Please send a light snack and a water bottle with your child.

You will get a confirmation call when we have received your forms and payment. No written  confirmation will be sent.

Cancellations & Refunds
  • Refunds  - less $50 booking fee - for cancellations up to May 31st, thereafter No Refunds unless space can be filled from our waiting list, then above rule applies.
  • Substitutions - After you receive a confirmation call, you have a 48 hour grace period to make any changes. After this time a  $40 fee is required for any substitutions of camper or camp date. (subject to availability)
